Nov 28, 2024The Role of Slewing Bearing Seals Seals in slewing bearings play a crucial role in preventing lubricant leakage, blocking dust, moisture, and other contaminants from entering, thus ensuring smooth operation and extending the bearing’s service life.Play video
Nov 27, 2024Today, we are at the 2024 BAUMA Construction Machinery Exhibition in Shanghai. Let's go over the key points for this year: 1. Chinese machinery has shown notable enhancements in quality and marketing strategies. 2. The presence of international brands is reduced, indicating…Play video
Nov 26, 2024We are measuring the highest point of tooth runout on this slewing bearing and will mark it with green paint. The user needs to align the drive gear with this marked position during installation.Play video
Nov 25, 2024The slewing bearing needs to be supplemented with sufficient grease after running for a certain period of time.Play video
Nov 24, 2024Let’s talk about two common features in machining: the blind hole and the counterbore. A blind hole is a hole that doesn’t go all the way through the material. One end is open, while the other is sealed. It’s often used to…Play video

Nov 23, 2024The clearance of a slewing bearing refers to the “tightness” or “looseness” between the rolling elements (such as steel balls or rollers) and the raceways. Simply put, this clearance affects how the bearing operates. If the clearance is larger, there’s more “space”…Play video

Nov 21, 2024How to remove the steel balls and isolation blocks inside the slewing bearingPlay video
Nov 20, 2024Hello everyone! Do you know how a slewing bearing is assembled? First, a slewing bearing consists of an inner ring and an outer ring. Steel balls or rollers are inserted into the raceway formed by the inner and outer rings through an…Play video A controlled route from technical review to final release
Each stage has a defined purpose, responsible team, and production record.
Drawing review
Confirm dimensions, interfaces, loads, gear data, and open technical points before release.
Material control
Verify material grade, supplier records, identification, and incoming condition for the production order.
Precision machining
Control turning, drilling, raceway, and gear operations against the approved manufacturing route.
Heat treatment
Apply the specified raceway and gear hardening process with documented control and verification.
Assembly & inspection
Check fit, clearance, rotation, runout, backlash where required, lubrication, and release records.
Packing & delivery
Complete marking, corrosion protection, documentation, and export packing for the agreed shipment route.
Practical controls for custom and repeat supply
Six points that help engineering and purchasing teams qualify the manufacturing route quickly.

How MERYDOM controls custom production
Concise manufacturing context for engineering, quality, and purchasing review.
Manufacturing built around OEM requirements
MERYDOM manufactures custom slewing bearings from customer drawings, existing bearing data, and application requirements. Engineering, purchasing, machining, heat treatment, assembly, and inspection teams work from the same approved technical basis. This keeps materials, dimensions, identification, process requirements, and inspection records aligned from order review through final release, including repeat orders and controlled engineering changes.
Engineering review before production
Before production starts, our engineering team reviews envelope dimensions, mounting interfaces, gear data, hole patterns, operating orientation, lubrication, seals, clearance, and available load information. Open technical points are confirmed before machining. For custom slewing bearings, the review may also define material, heat-treatment route, inspection characteristics, marking, documentation, and other controls needed for a practical manufacturing plan.
Quality control linked to production records
Quality control is integrated into the production route rather than limited to final inspection. Material records, machining dimensions, heat-treatment results, raceway and gear checks, assembly controls, rotation, runout, marking, and final release records remain linked to the production order. Inspection depth is adjusted to the drawing, application risk, and agreed customer documentation requirements.
A practical manufacturing partner for global supply
MERYDOM supports overseas OEMs, equipment manufacturers, distributors, and maintenance organizations with direct technical communication and stable production follow-up. We can work from drawings, bearing numbers, samples, or application data. Export preparation includes identification, corrosion protection, suitable packing, and agreed commercial and quality documents, while daily factory videos and workshop photographs provide visible evidence of active production.
