Two Countries, One Day: Italian Marine Crane Order Confirmed and Russian Partnership Begins
A major Italian marine equipment manufacturer visited MERYDOM to discuss the purchase of slewing bearings for marine cranes. The customer requires approximately 300 to 500 slewing bearings each year and was satisfied with MERYDOM’s product quality and delivery capability. The visit concluded with a confirmed purchase order. On the same day, MERYDOM also welcomed Mr. Pavel from Russia and reached an initial agreement on strategic cooperation in the Russian market.
MERYDOM recently welcomed customers from Italy and Russia on the same day. They came from different markets, but both were looking for the same thing: a reliable and professional long-term slewing bearing manufacturing partner.
The Italian customer is a major manufacturer of marine equipment and marine cranes. With an annual demand of approximately 300 to 500 slewing bearings, product quality, supply stability, and delivery time were central to the discussions.
During the visit, the Italian team toured the MERYDOM workshop and reviewed our machining, heat treatment, assembly, and inspection processes. Both parties also discussed product structures, technical requirements, expected quantities, and delivery schedules.
The negotiations progressed smoothly. After evaluating MERYDOM’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and delivery arrangements, the Italian customer confirmed the purchase order.
On the same day, MERYDOM also welcomed Mr. Pavel from Russia. The discussions covered market demand, product supply, customer service, and possible long-term cooperation in Russia. By the end of the meeting, both sides had reached a strategic cooperation intention.
