Swedish Customer Visits MERYDOM for Annual Supplier Audit
A customer team from Sweden visited the MERYDOM factory to conduct its annual on-site supplier audit. The team reviewed our slewing bearing production processes, machining capabilities, assembly operations, in-process inspection, and quality control practices. Both parties also discussed product quality, production management, and future cooperation.
MERYDOM recently welcomed a customer team from Sweden for an annual supplier audit. The visit provided an opportunity to review ongoing cooperation, inspect actual production conditions, confirm quality requirements, and discuss future projects.
Accompanied by the MERYDOM team, the Swedish visitors toured the manufacturing workshop and reviewed the main production stages of slewing bearings, including machining, gear processing, assembly, and inspection.
For products of different sizes and structures, both teams discussed machining methods, critical dimensional control, raceway quality, gear accuracy, and assembly requirements. These on-site discussions allowed technical questions to be reviewed directly beside the products.
During the audit, the customer paid particular attention to the assembly process. The team observed the installation of bearing balls, spacers, and other internal components, while learning how MERYDOM controls clearance, rotational performance, and product consistency during assembly.
MERYDOM personnel also demonstrated inspection procedures on products at different production stages. The customer reviewed completed and in-process slewing bearings against drawings and technical requirements, while discussing specific details with our engineering and quality teams.
The visit also covered production records, inspection procedures, project progress, and future delivery arrangements. These discussions helped both parties maintain a shared understanding of technical standards and project expectations.
An annual supplier audit is more than a routine inspection. It is an important part of continuous improvement and long-term cooperation. By visiting the production site, customers can directly evaluate the equipment, personnel, manufacturing processes, and daily quality management of their supplier.
